The depth and wealth of information was enriching - from the big sites to the interesting little pieces in the museum in the Agora. The pace was appropriate. Our tour guide, Efi, was was cordial and so knowledgeable. Thanks for a memorable visit to the Acropolis and Agora!

Maria was fabulous and so knowledgeable. The early time is a must not only for the heat, in summer, but the crowds. We had a very friendly group of 10 with Florida, Illinois and California represented. Walking can be difficult in places so you must watch your step. Wonderful tour. We did the Ancient Agora by ourselves later during our stay.

Awesome! Absolutely recommend this tour. It's early, which is so necessary, because any later and its just too hot. Also, you can beat the majority of the crowds, which makes the experience so much more enjoyable. As we were leaving our tour and heading down the hill around 11am or so, we passed through giant throngs of people I was so glad to have avoided just hours earlier. We lucked out too, and our tour ended up being just my friend and I with our wonderful, informative guide! Loved it!

Very interesting tour. A lot of very good information. And on top a good advice for an excellent restaurant!

Our tour guide was brilliant. We had 7 people and we all enjoyed the tour. We did include the Ancient Agora which was amazing but it was too much information to take in for 4 hours. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking on uneven surface and it can get windy we were there in late September.

We took the early walking tour at 8. Thanks to Maria, for her knowledge of the Greek history and her enthusiasm.

Marissa was an excellent tour guide. Tons of knowledge and she is passionate of Athens and its history. I recommend the Ancient Agora Optional tour as it provided a complete understanding of the ancient Athens. HIGHLY recommended!!

We ended up having a private tour - 3 of us and the guide. Maria was very knowledgeable and we did learn some things, especially in the Agora when she was telling us about how the city was governed. Some of the information was a bit too basic, especially in the beginning of the tour, but better too much than too little. We never were rushed and and while the tour was 4 hours long, was very relaxing. I'm not sure if this would be the case if the tour group was larger, but with just the three of us we could spend as much or little time at any place along the tour.
