Let me start by saying how wonderful our guide, Mike was. Such a sweet man. Knowledgable, funny, and kind! At the start of the tour, he asked if anyone had any time constraints he should know about. We so appreciated this, as we had a reservation for tea that may have posed a conflict without Mike's help. He originally said he would try to take a more convenient approach into town so that he could drop us closer to our restaurant, but about half-way into the tour he told us that he would be dropping us off at the door of our destination! You really can't ask for better service than that - five stars go to Mike. The tour itself was also lovely. We enjoyed the drive to Malahide Castle, as well as the tour. The town of Howth was really nothing to write home about thus the four star rating instead of five, but I was glad to have gotten a glimpse of a seal.

Had an amazing time, felt safe and secure the whole time while also having a blast. Great for kids, families, and solo travellers alike. Would highly recommend going into the butterfly pavilion near the castle if you have time you get in for free w your sticker from this tour and the town of Howth is sooo gorgeous and fun.

The visited locations were not very impressive - the tour of Malahide castle is actually very short and we could stay in Howt only 2 hours just enough time to eat some sea food at a local restaurant. On the other hand, the DoDublin guide Michael was very informative and funny, a real entertainer - just to prove that people always make the difference.

The castle was great but we had too little time to explore after the tour. 15 minutes was not enough.

The Howth stop was good for lunch, but not much else when lunch was over except walking around.

The castle grounds and tour was wonderful. Marie, our guide was entertaining and absolutely delightful. She had lots of interesting stories about the castle and told them in a way where you don't want her to stop. The grounds were beautiful and we really wish we had more time to explore.

After the castle, we went to Howth, the fishing village. It might have been the time of year but there was not much going on there. It is a small village and no real townspeople around to talk with. Here we had too much time to spend.

This tour was very enjoyable. The bus driver was very nice and on the way to the castle he gave us information about the places we were driving through. The castle was absolutely beautiful and the lady who gave us the tour about the castle explained every detail about the castle from when it was built, the first owner to this day and also different stories about the occupants who lived in the castle over the centuries. The North Coast was absolutely gorgeous and the bus driver gave us info about the area and then dropped us off for an hour at a lovely place near the harbor where we had a delicious seafood lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area. This tour is worth it because you get to see a lot and the price is awesome too!1

Amazing trip! It was so interesting to visit Malahide Castle - home of Talbot family for more than 800 years. And Howth is a really charming fishing village with the best sea food. So I recommend this trip.

This tour was well worth our time and money. It was the best castle tour of our whole trip, the tour guide was funny and well-versed in the history, and the Howth Peninsula was lovely.

The trip itself was very nice. The duration was almost perfect.

I was a little disappointed with the castle, since it has been modernized quite a bit, but our tour guide at the castle, and I am sorry, I cannot remember her name, was VERY GOOD! The grounds of the castle were very nice and very well maintained.
The visit to Howth was great. Perfect amount of time to wonder around, beautiful day, breathtaking views, GREAT coffee.
The only downside was the bus driver/tour guide. I know he had to fill the time, but he talked and sang just a bit too much.
All in all however, this was a great trip and beautiful drive!
