Beware of the revenge of nessie, you non-believers!

It was a large bus so we did not have a small group experience and I should have read this before booking. The coach guids was good and he told us bits of information all through the tour. W felt that the bus should have stopeed at Fort williams for lunch instead of where it stops since Fort williams would have had a lot more choices. In the begining the bust guide made us wait for a long time before we could board the bus inspite of coming from the other end. This made us get the seats at the last row which was not acceptable to us.However looks like the guide was a kid so we overlooked it.We loved the Urquart castle experience though. It was great!

Such a great trip, we were able to see everything we wanted to. Long day, but definitely worth it.

Extremely long ride with very few non-exciting stops. I expected to spend more time outside considering Scotland's majestic landscapes, but we only got to see them through the window. Even the stops that we made were for souvenir-shopping instead of walking. The only 1-hour stop at Lochness only gave options of either taking a boat or visiting a castle. Those who didn't want to do either of those had to spend that hour in a cafeteria. There should always be a third option to walk around! But the stop was made at a place where hiking route was almost impossible to find, and the driver didn't suggest anything better to do. I found one hiking route not very far using which wasn't easy to do, this should be advised by the tour driver.

Excellent and inclusive tour around the Highlands. Beautiful scenery and interesting places. A bit too much sitting though, 12 hours trip is tough on your bum, so definately not suitable for kids. Our guide Patrick was great, lots of trivia, interesting and funny stories - and he drove fast, sometimes a bit too fast.

Fantastic way to see tbe highlands without the stress of driviing on the narrow winding roads in this beautiful country. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and courteous.

The highlands are really beautiful and this tour gives you a great taste of the views, history and culture of this beautiful area. The tour was really interesting and was a great way to see a lot in a small amount of time.
There are a few things to be aware of though.1- You spend a lot of time on the bus as it takes time to get where you need to go, and you don't get to stop at all the sights though there are frequent stops to stretch your legs and take photos. If you can tour for more than one day, do so as there is so much more to see then you have time for in a day. 2- The bus we used seated 50 people and was not a smaller van offered by some other tours which I would have preferred in hindsight considering how much time you spend on the bus so if you are prone to getting sick on buses, be prepared and try sitting near the front or look for tours offering smaller vans. 3- The tour guide provides commentary on the history of Scotland and the sites you visit/pass throughout the tour. I really enjoyed this part of the tour, but it does get quite tedious by the end of the tour. If that doesn't interest you, bring some of your own music and earphones to block it out as they are is nowhere to hide.

Overall a good tour and a great way to see the highlands in a short space of time.

Informative, engaging, fun but long! day. We went on several bus day trips during our vacation, but this was by far the best value one we had. Between our phenomenal tour guide Kenny, the lectured recordings during the driving time, and the incomparable scenery, this tour crams everything you could want out of an introduction to the Scottish Highlands in one day. Note: The Loch boat ride and the Urquhart Castle ruins are a separate fee about 15-20 pounds each and the structure of the tour almost forces which seems like a strong word, but I don't mean that in a negative way into one of those add-on options. Nothing to be sad about because the Loch is stunning no matter when you go and a boat ride on it is exactly what you want, even if you don't know it yet. Book this trip, read up on your Scottish history, and just be prepared to plan your bathroom breaks for the day, and you'll be all set!
