Chef Walter was the instructor for the day and he was thorough, knowledgeable, funny and incredibly talented . It was the highlight of our trip , my daughter said she will not be able to eat pasta from a box anymore . The meal was beyond delicious !!!!
Fun class but felt a little rushed. Each station makes only one sauce and only one station makes dessert. Everyone gets to make multiple types of pasta. Everyone watches each other. The best part is sitting together to eat what everyone has made at the end. We learned a lot and will try these things again at home
You know what the best travel souvenir is when you don't want to bring your family to Italy? Bringing Italy to your family! We learned to make egg-based and water-based pastas from scratch. It's not nearly as hard as it seems! We made three different sauces with olive oil as the base. We even made panna cotta with strawberry sauce for dessert. Everything was delicious. You will spend a couple hours learning how to make pasta from a master chef, and then enjoy it with your classmates. We received copies of all the recipes so that we could bring home our skills to and Italy again and again. Completely worth it.
We loved this experience! We got there late so the class had already begun, but we were taken into the kitchen and given our own private class with a handsome and charismatic teacher. They were very accommodating! Then we got to feast on our creation in their beautiful cellar. Definitely recommend!
Our pasta making class was wonderful and the results were delicious. With only six people in our group , we got individual assistance and each class member had a chance to do most steps in the process. We made 3 different past dishes and a dessert. Our instructor was knowledgeable, gave us tips and answered all questions and made the class a fun experience. Would definitely recommend it to any one interested in making pasta.
