The cooking with Chris and Luca was literally an experience. Very detailed explanation on how to make wonderful Gelato and Pizza. Starting with the Gelato - We made over 8 different types of Gelato and Chris explained how the ratios of the various ingredients affect how it is made. Each of us made one and was absolutely brilliant and super easy. We also had a show with Liquid Nitrogen done by Chris.Pizza - If you get Luca as your cook, consider yourself super lucky. He is so much fun and makes Pizza making an absolute experience with his own antics!! For the first time I flew a pizza in the air. If you guys are in Florence, this is one experience you cannot miss. Definitely do this over visiting any places around. Winter cold is no problem at all, as it is all done indoors (except of course for the wood fire oven).
This cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Luca and Lavinia do a fantastic job. They are both extremely well-trained, personable, and helpful. We learned so much and had a blast doing it! You can’t beat an afternoon of delicious food nestled in the hills of Tuscany. Luca is sure to keep you laughing your entire visit and Lavinia taught us so much about gelato... her passion is contagious! Great for families or couples alike. Consider this a must-do!
If you want to laugh and laugh and eat delicious food prepared in a gorgeous setting then this cooking class is for you! Luca and Angela were our chefs who skillfully guided us in the art of making pizza and gelato! We learned the secrets behind making these famous Italian foods and then feasted on both. Recipes will be mailed to participants so we can recreate this deliciousness back home. The ride to the farmhouse is scenic and beautiful and the experience truly memorable. Definitely a highlight of our time in Italy!
My roommate and I spent 2.5 weeks traveling around Italy, including Rome, Florence, Milan, and the Cinque Terre. We booked numerous tours and classes through Viator. Hands down, this was our FAVORITE! This class was definitely the best experience we had in Italy! Lavinia and Matteo were both amazing! They were nice, personable, attentive, kind, and friendly. Matteo kept us laughing the entire time. Lavi was running around making sure everything ran smoothly and flawlessly (which it did). They also kept the wine pouring the entire time! This class was really fun and I highly recommend it! I can't wait to return to Florence and take this class again! Thank you, Matteo and Lavi!!!
I had the most amazing experience in this class ever! It was the highlight of my trip. Lucas and Massimiliano were amazing, very funny and charming and a pleasure to learn from. One of the best experiences I had on this trip! It was well organized. Beautiful setting. Max and Luca were educational, hilarious, and engaging. We really did learn a lot about pizza and gelato. The pizza we made was probably the best I had on this trip. The gelato was amazing too and Max added some unique flavors and toppings. I can’t wait to try making this at home! Thank you!!
