Great tour to hit the highlights of the Uffizi. I had really limited time and this was a great way to see works by Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Rembrandt and Botticelli. Tour guide was easy to understand and gave good background.
Our guide Frederica was most charming and informative. She answered all our questions and was so knowledgeable. We loved her tour! In addition, we were late getting to the meeting place due to the bus and someone came outside to meet us and make sure we made the tour.
Guide was very knowledgeable, and patient - thankfully waited for us when we received wrong directions to initial meeting point! Make sure you're 15 minutes earlier than stated time and you'll have no problems! Highly recommend this tour!
The tour was the best way to discover the treasures at the Uffizi Gallery. The guide was fluent in English and provided great insight into all of the main exhibits. The tour lasts around 90 minutes but you could easily spend 3-4 hours there. I woul highly recommend this tour.
This is an absolute waste of money. I was so impressed with all the tours in Rome and the night tours in Florence that I booked this without really researching. Please book the tickets for the Uffizi from their original website. Its like 3 times cheaper and you have to wait in line anyway due to the headcount capacity constraints within the gallery. There is no benefit of paying 44 Euro/head instead of 16 Euro/head.
The guide also didn't know what he was talking about and made so many errors I had done my research on this before visiting. He also wouldn't wait for us to see the art in the different rooms. He just took us room by room with only 2-3 mins per room. OMG! It was awful.
The skip the line aspect was nice, beating out many random walks-ups. However, if you purchase just admission directly from the museum ahead of time, you may be able to get a set entry time to allow for the same skipping benefit.
The tour itself is nice, taking you through the essential rooms of this fine museum and giving great context. I would recommend saving time after the tour to visit other areas the tour is unable to cover.
The radios and headsets could have been better. The channel wasn't the clearest, with feedback coming through. And the headset provided was a single earbud, allowing for distractions to enter the other ear. These factors sometimes made it difficult to hear the guide and get the full experience.
