It is a jam packed day and very rushed. I was very disappointed in the lack of time at Windsor Castle. The other thing that they should have said was that the tour was in English and Japanese. You felt like there was no down time to absorb what the tour guide was saying because she was constantly talking in English or Japanese.

The bus terminal in Paris is quite large with two different buildings so it took us a while before we located the right tour bus. It would have been helpful if the tour instructions included the gate number. Other than that, we really enjoyed the trip. Phil our tour guide was so knowledgeable and interesting. He kept us entertained with facts and stories for the whole day especially during the bus ride to our destinations. The line at Windsor Castle was quite long but while in line Phil told us in detail about the first few audio stops so we were able to skip those and quickly move on to the heart of the castle. The tour instructions told us to bring a lunch but this was not necessary as it was easy to pick up sandwiches and snacks as we left Windsor castle and walked back to the bus. Only disappointment was that we arrived too late in the day to go to King Cross college in Oxford. But Phil gave a good walking tour with time to stop at a few shops. Riding back to London, the driver navigated us easily through the streets to give us a bit of a tour of different areas around London such as Notting Hill. To end a great tour, Phil recommended SeaFresh restaurant and told us how to get there from the bus station. It was an awesome meal. Phil was the perfect English tour guide and he definitely made the day trip enjoyable and memorable.

Wow! This tour was incredible. We saw a ton in one day and it was well worth it. Our tour guide, Phil, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He was so full of facts and history, it was like a full college course in one day! I would hire him in a second as a private tour guide. Lots of bus time between destinations and he did a great job educating the tour on the way. My only recommendation is to provide a little stop time for lunch. There was so much to see, we didn't want to stop.

The trip was amazing! It was a very busy day, though everything went smoothly. We got to see 3 very different places, which is impossible without the tour. Our tour guide Phil is very knowledgeable about London history and the places we visit, including a lot of tips of bar crawl and shopping. It was a great experience.

Our tour guide was amazing. He was a wealth of knowledge and went out of his way to be helpful and informative. If it were not for him, I would have rated this tour with one or two stars. First, the departure location was outdated, dirty, crowded and disorganized. I gather that this departure point services local buses as well as tours so thousands of people were stuffed into the terminal with little information about which tours departed from which gate. Overhead announcements made mention of the fact that the staff could not assist with these tours - that they only assisted with local bus information. There were tour bus representatives available they were wearing a specific jacket and provided information upon request.
The bus was modern but did not have a restroom. The seats were miserably cramped - similar to traveling coach on an old 747. I am 5'3, of average weight and I could not have touched my ankles if I wanted to. My husband is 6'2 - his knees were smacked up against the chair in front.
Our first stop was Windsor Castle. We raced up to town from the bus stop only to wait in line for about 45 minutes. We only spent about an hour inside the castle - as our guide said just a taste. This means that you might have time to stop and look at one or two things, but the idea is to quickly move through each room. Since lunch is not included on this tour, we were expected to purchase lunch in Windsor to eat on the bus on our way to Stonehenge. Windsor has a number of shops available for lunch so there were ample choices. We opted for sandwiches and chips. Since the seats are cramped and the bus has no cupholders, eating lunch on the bus was not fun.
Stonehenge was the best part of this tour. I would strongly advise listening to the recorded audio guide while traveling to Stonehenge. You will arrive at a bus parking area and will take a shuttle to the site. The shuttle is very similar to an airport parking shuttle but only takes about 10 minutes. The shuttles have seating, but they pack in so many people that every standing spot is taken as well.
Travel to Oxford was smooth and quiet. The Oxford tour itself was near to impossible - our tour guide had to move 50 people through crowded streets all while trying to speak over the audio system. If you found yourself a few feet behind the guide, the audio didn't work. We found ourselves more concerned about staying with the large group than enjoying the sites.
Overall, I am glad we took this tour but would not do it again. Our tour guide mentioned that the tour was designed to give a taste of each attraction but most of the time at each location was spent waiting. We were rushed at every site.
