It was fast paced and there was a lot of time on the bus - but that is what we expected. We got to see a lot of places in a short period of time. Bus was comfortable, tour guide was pleasant, the hotels were 3 star but better than expected - they were clean and comfortable and near affordable eating options in most cases. Great value for money and much easier than lugging our own suitcases around Italy.

We had booked the above tour online and on the Viator website, it stated all the hotels will be at least a 3 stars hotel which was not true in our case. I have to say all the hotels we stayed for the entire trip were one star or no stars at all. It is worse than motel 6. The hotels in Italy have no air conditioning and are very old. All the setup in the rooms reminded me back in the 80's. We did not stay at any hotel that were mentioned on the hotel name list we got from Viator for this specific tour.

The tour company we were assigned to calls GoEuGo which is a local Chinese tour, I'm not sure if this is based on our last name or it's just a coincidence?

We didn't get to see anything in Switzerland, we got there in the late afternoon around 5:00pm and the tour only to take us to the Lindt chocolate stores and all the stores around the area closed at 7:00pm. We then had to leave around 7:30pm.

Anyway, over all the other places we visited were beautiful other than the hotels.

The tour is amazing expect it was a little rush. This is our first time to Europe and it is sure as it called The Taste of Europe tour.
We were able to see a lot of cities in 7 days. The tour started at 9 am in Paris on Saturday and returned to Paris the next Friday around 6 pm. There were several times we had to stop in the gas station for lunch or dinner. It was only 30 minutes sometimes 40 minutes break. Without using the bathroom, there was sufficient time to eat, but when we used the bathroom which the line was always long, we had to eat in a hurry or grab something to eat in the coach. We we are fine with that because we rather see more cities than spending long hours in the restaurant. Exclusions of the trip included mandatory tip for the tour manager and driver of 5 Euro per person per day and another total of 40 to 45 Euro per person for city entrance fees in Venice, Florence,Rome and Pisa.
Can't ask for more for the amount of money we paid for the tour. You get what you paid for. Overall,we are happy with the tour.

be ready for a very fast paced tour to see so many sites and countries. the tour bus was comfortable. every 2 hours we had rest stops for 1520 min. necessary to stretch your body and get some snacks. fast paced means 1-2 hours stops to see the famous sites and then proceed to drive 6 to 7 hours to your next hotel which means you arrive around 830- 9pm, You go out on your own for late dinner if you want or sleep early and in the morning have free breakfast at 7 am and bus leaves at 8 am sharp, repeat x 7 days. the tour price is very affordable, free breakfast each day, hotels are 3 stars and clean i dont know how the tour operators make profit but expect to cough up extra euros for the tips for the bus driver, guide and other non included extra excursions and meals if you want to participate in them, ie. gondola ride, colosseum tour, lunch in Venice and Florence. our tour ran smoothly overall with our friendly guide Yan and bus driver CV. thanks again guys.

At first I was skeptic about such online bookings of group tours, with those too-good-to-be-true prices. But when I knew about Viator, read its reviews, I knew my money and my booking would just be safe :- The 7-day Green Line Tour was just so awesome I missed our tour manager Danny and our cool driver Fred :- The hotels where we were checked in were all good, food was superb most especially in Hotel Flemington but the hotel I liked most was the Savona Hotel Idea. The price of the tour US550 is SO WORTH IT I'm thinking if Viator still made a gross margin from it hehe. THANK YOU VIATOR!!! Will definitely book with you guys again! :-

It was a wonderful trip to see so many amazing places in such a short time. The guide and driver were excellent and really appreciated all the organisation.

It was a very interesting trip especially for a first-timer in Europe and you don't have a lot of time to go around.
A very packed schedule and that made us able to see most of the interesting part of Italy and Lucerne.
AJ, our Five-Star tour guide, made the whole trip enjoyable.

We took the green line 7 Day Taste of Europe trip, and all in all it was a good value for the money. Having taken a similar trip with a high end tour company, I was interested to see I stayed in similar hotels the same hotel in one city and did a similar itinerary. However, this one by GoEuGo was obviously very budget minded. Because of the number of cities visited, the time in each was very limited 1 or 2 hours. We could not have added activities like seeing the statue of David in Florence because of the time limitations and they were not optional with the tour. The only suggestions for lunches and dinners were fast food venues, and I prefer not to eat McDonald's in Europe when I can do that at home. Also, I was surprised that there were several small children on this tour, ranging from a baby maybe 8 months old to 3 and 4 year old toddlers. Parenting across cultures is very different, so the entire bus was subjected to 3 year old temper tantrums and continuous crying. Thankfully my music listened with earbuds drowned out the crying, but that meant I could also not hear the tour manager's commentary, directions, or even the movies that were played. The tour manager's commentary skewed sharply to the political area rather than the historical commentary that I experienced with a different guide understandable since every guide was different. But a little offensive that when he learned during the getting to know you portion that I work for lawyers he announced on the microphone that I worked for thieves since he apparently believes all lawyers and bankers are thieves. The optional tours were fine The Vatican and Sistine Chapel definitely worth the money for skip the line benefits though the included tours Fragonard and glass blowing sales pitches could be deleted! Be aware that the first and last days are 7 hour bus rides, geographically necessary but something to keep in mind. The cleverly selected movies shown helped to pass the time.
