Did the 5 hour Apache Trail tour, 1st a stop at the Goldfield mine ghost town, Dolly boat ride and lunch at Tortilla Flat town was perfect from pick up to return, Mark was quite a chatty guide with lots of information about Phoenix and Scottsdale our way there and back.
Pick up was on time tour vehicle was comfortable and the guide informative. The planned stops were as advertised. The Dolly boat ride was very interesting for the area we saw some desert wildlife. This is a good way to get a Apachie trail tour without the hassle of driving.
This is a must trip for anyone traveling to Phoenix. Our guide David had a great knowledge of the Apache Trail, Superstition Mountain and the lore surrounding the area. The boat ride on Canyon Lake was spectacular. We were lucky enough to see bald eagles and mountain goats.
The tour guide was great. The tour van was terrible! I've never heard a vehicle rattle that much. It was really a substandard vehicle. My son had to move to the front seat because the noise in the back was giving him a headache.
We took the Apache Trail tour in mid -Sept 2014 the day after a heavy rain. The desert was lovely. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our question. We especially enjoy the Ferry ride on Canyon Lake.
