I was a little disappointed in Ronda itself, the little white villages are beautiful and would have liked to spend more time exploring them instead of visiting a bigger city like Ronda. I was also disappointed with the meeting place, when you are new to a city as confusing as Sevilla, a meeting place should not be so complicated to find. Another thing, the tour guide was a very nice helpful man but he recommended a restaurant that was horrible, the food was terrible, the service lacked and the waiters were rude. Maybe in the future he should leave that restaurant out as it was the biggest disappointment on our visit to Ronda,.
The location was excellent even in the rain. However I would not recommend this trip. First the driver would not use the breaks but kept shifting the gears and many got car sick. Second if you are picked up first you are dropped off last which meant over two hours of riding the bus in the city. Last the guide spoke way too fast and we missed vital information. Very sad tour.
We had a great day on this trip. The scenery was stunning! Sergio, our tour guide was knowledgable and his English was easy to understand. We spent a little more time than we would have liked picking up others in Seville before making the trip to our first stop, but the rest of the day was worth the wait. I would do this trip again!
There were 3 elements that made this trip so memorable. First, every place we visited was extremely interesting and/or beautiful. Second, the tour guide, driver and guide in training were lovely, well informed and obviously enjoyed their work. And third, I had the opportunity to share the experience with a great group of diverse people who also chose the same tour on the same day. All three elements were equally important in making this tour the best I have even been on!
Highly recommend this trip. The scenery is just lovely, and it's a stress-free way to see the countryside without having to rent a car. We learned so much about the history of the region, and enjoyed learning how olives are harvested and processed. Ronda is a notably interesting place, filled with both history and high-quality, homemade crafts. Our tour guide Aurora was deeply knowledgeable and transmitted her deep affection for the region. We were picked up and dropped off just as we were told we would be, the bus was clean and the driver excellent. All-in-all, the trip was just terrific.
The positives, the highlights lived up to expectations, Ronda is well worth seeing, the tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable, The negatives, too much time spent waiting for fellow passengers at the beginning, white villages stop-off was very disappointing with little to see and do and plenty of time to see it, at Ronda spent too much time with the bull fighting aspects and walking in when we were there to see the bridge and time became limited.
