All trips to Gozo are the same and the same tour operator, so forget comparing reviews! They pick you up in one van and then deposit you at the ferry where you are out into groups according to language, then put onto a bus and take. Gozo does a coop so all trips are the same.Getting in the ferry is a study in dysfunction and disorganization. Half our group and tour guide ended up missing our ferry and we had to wait on the other end of the ferry ride where a nice bus driver from the Italian group told us where to wait. From pick up at the hotel to getting on the bus in Gozo was almost 3.5 hours! Walked through the archeological stop on 30 minutes. Got longer time in a “craft market” that sold “locally-handmade” items from from (China), seriously...pashmina scarves that they sell on the street in NYC, Florence, and Paris for 5 bucks that were “real cashmere” for upwards of 30 euros - at least change the tags! The guide took a call while she was telling us about something. We waited, and the food for lunch was HORRIBLE! I ate bread and margarine (you just can’t make this stuff up). I travel a lot, and will only do day tours when there are lots of steps and I do t have a lot of time. I never disappointed because I get it’s a day trip. This time I was not only disappointed, I had to get up at 5:40 am to get to the pick up location on time for an 8:15 pick-up and didn’t see my first stop until after 12:00 noon. Take my advice, do it on your own, it will cost less and take less time.

The only issue I had with this tour was the pick-up process. I was told to meet at 8:30am, but wasn't actually picked up until 9:10, which made me concerned that I had somehow missed the bus or gone to the wrong spot. Then, after I finally was picked up, there were tours being given in 6 or 7 different languages which is awesome!, but it was very confusing for everyone to figure out where they were supposed to be going according to their language. However, once that was all settled, the tour was awesome. Rita English tour was very sweet and really knew her stuff. We were given plenty of time to see the places we went, and I felt like we saw all of the major highlights of Gozo. Lunch was also decent.

Transfer from ferry to hotel took over two hours and very little information from driver on why this happened
Gigantija temples too crowded, very difficult to take a decent photo

Thos was a fantastic tour! I was wary of the early pickup because we arrived at 2am the morning of the tour...but we had a great time. Pickup was good. The ferry ride was enjoyable. Danielle was our tour guide - apart from being a really nice person and very knowledgeable of the sites and history, she was always on top of who was in her group and made sure everybody was comfortable. She answered everybody's questions and always gave us time to wander around alone. My partner and I think this was the best part of our holiday and we did it on the first day. Definitely do this!

Very convenient being picked up at our hotel and taken to the ferry docks. Very easy transfers to get on the ferry and then off. The ferry ride over was great - not too long and it was an amazing view of Gozo as we approached.

The Azure Window was a highlight as were the temples.

It was a long day but we did want to see as much of the island as possible and the tour covered a lot of ground.

Overall, Gozo is Good. definately worth a visit.
The temples, on the other hand, not so much.
To put it as your headline act implies there is a lot to see and appreciate.
Erm...not so much
Just a pile of rocks, not worth a special visit
.One plaque mentiones the floor had some artistic importance. shame we couln't see it for the weeds and overgrowth.
The trip to the movies in Victoria was a filler for the day. It was supposed to be history of Gozo, but covered little history, preferring to cover how great the locals are.
I would have much preferred to see more of Victoria, but we had to get back on the bus to the Special Visit to the lace shop and tourist tat.
Lunch is a real conveyor belt set up. 3 coaches descended on this restaurant for very average grub. Service was warp factor 9 speed. Hurry up! Two more coaches coming in

If you are pushed for time, I'd give this day a second thought. Only because the content was not really value for money. The coach service was fine, the tour guide was fab.

I and my 3.5 year old son had the tour in mid March and we had a fun day. Organisation of the tour was good although a brief introduction to the program of the day when we were first picked up at the pick-up point, before we got to meet our tour guide which was 1 hour later at the port to Gozo would be helpful for us. Everyone was a bit confused at the beginning for which bus to get on in Gozo. It was quite chaotic given the crowd at the port. Improvement should be made to lunch meal. I was expecting traditional Malta dishes but the place and the meal was quite industrial.
The remark of the tour was our our tour guide, Hanna. She was knowledgable, efficient and caring. I forgot my souvenir bag on the bus in Gozo and only realised when we were almost arriving Malta. She managed to contact the bus owners the driver was already off right after our trip and asked them to deliver my bag to the port on Gozo side. As I was alone with my son and was not familiar with the place, she went together with us to pick up the bag after arranging the trip back for other people. She had to go home 2hrs late with public transportation that night. I greatly appreciate her professional attitude and kind enthusiasm. The company is very lucky to have an employee like her.

We would like to go back to Malta as it is so beautiful. Gozo is very charming and this tour is highly recommended.

I did not get to gi on trip as I was not picked up at time from hotel as stated on booking form. According to the company I was ment to ring the night before to confirm time, as I had no access to a phone I was not able ro. An email should have been sent as I would hwve been able to pick it up.
I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing gozo. Also I lost money which is worked hard for.
I will not recommend booking through viator again. To expect someone to ring while on holiday us unrealistic.
