Tour was 5 hours long but it went by VERY fast. The visit to both Murano and Burano was one of the highlights to my trip. I wish we had a little more time to walk around Murano on our own. They also said they would provide champagne and non-alcohol drinks for kids. They served the champagne which was nice, but our kids got NOTHING. not even water. so They sort of thirsted on the boat. Otherwise, the kids were fascinated by the glass blowing demonstration.

I really enjoyed this tour. I wanted to see both islands in Venice without having to stress about how to get there. The boat was really nice and luxurious. Our tour guide, Racquel, was very friendly and informative. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. I would have loved to have had more time to explore but it was a great half day tour. I will say that the lace demonstration isn't really a demonstration. Its just a really short explanation.

We had a good day visiting the glass blowing business on Murano. The process was fascinating and the Master was very talented. The hard sell by the staff in the shop was quite uncomfortable and frustrating. The walk through Burano to the lace shop not a laboratory was lovely. The lace factory consisted of a lady sitting on a chair in the middle of a shop sewing some thread....and again pushy sales assistants. The boat ride was the highlight with information provided about the islands away from the main tourist districts.

Enjoyed seeing other unique islands of Italy. The glass blowing was amazing and the lace was incredible. Taking photos of the bright houses of Burano was a highlight. Our guide was helpful and we had free time on both islands.

Virginia, our guide was wonderful! In addition to telling us about the glass-blowing and lace making and the history of these 2 islands, she gave us so much useful information about Venice and Venician history! Watching the glass being formed and seeing items created before our eyes was especially educational. Seeing the beautiful island of Burrano was a real treat! Don't miss it! Viator is the best!

The tour was OK. Was disappointed that we did not get to see other stores on Murano other than the one at the glass factory. Would have liked more information on glass blowing, for example how do they create the flowered glass they are famous for. Lace making demonstration was a little underwhelming. Didn't get much information on lace making and its history. And depending on where you were sitting on the boat, it was hard to tell what the guide was pointing out.

Great well run tour with informative guide. Could have used more time in Burano, but the time I had, cost me a fortune. Glass factory tour was great.

A great day out! The toyr started with a visit to the church with its interesting history followed by a fascinating visit to the glass blowing workshop to see the masters at work. The the glass in the display rooms was jaw dropping beautiful. The island of burano was very picturesque - and our guide Jean Luc gave us an insight into the history of the area. We had a delicious lunch to finish the day out!

Absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we had adequate free time for a crepe and an ice cream.
So happy to have seen Murano and Burano, they are a huge contrast to Venice and its millions of tourists! More serene and relaxing.
The glass blower in Murano demonstrated how to make several items, but absolutely took my breath away when he crafted a perfect little horse in less than a minute! I just had to buy a pair of beautiful owls as a momentous of this day.
In Burano, we watched a lady making lace, such delicate and intricate work. Burano is such a pretty village with colourful homes and many photo opportunities. Would recommend this tour to everyone who is staying in Venice, well worth every cent.
