We are a family of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip to Murano and Burano, these two islands are definitely a must see while visiting Venice. Our lovely guide, Miss Kitty was fantastic and had an extensive knowledge of Venice. We would highly recommend this fun experience to anyone coming to Venice. Miss Kitty also recommended an awesome restaurant afterwards which was much appreciated. Many thanks.

This is an excellent tour if you want to escape the crowds in Venice and get out on the water. Mrs. Martinez, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was willing to customize the tour to allow us to spend more time in the areas we were most interested. Murano glass blowing is very special to witness. An added bonus is that one of your group participates. Burano is so beautiful and relaxing. Lace making there is a dying art form so go witness it while there is still time! Everyone in our family loved this tour from age 19 to 65.

We had an excellent experience on this trip, with the added bonus of being stopped by the water patrol. The guide, Kathy provided an a superb experience. Would definitely rebook. The glass blowing demonstration was eye-opening

Our guide was prompt and she was pleasant and well informed. Murano was as expected and the glass factory was interesting but it would have been better to see more of the island. Burano was beautiful and very colourful. We were able to walk around the island more but could have spent a lot more time there. We had to skip Torcello in order to be back in Venice on time and at our request were delivered to a stop on the other side of VENICE from our pick up point. It was a pleasant day but a little rushed trying to cram too much into ½ a day.

The boat ride to the islands and back was truly breathtaking. We stood on the oldest bridge in Venezia, enjoyed the delicious Burano biscuit and witnessed Murano glassmaking at its best. This private tour for a family of four with your own guide and boat was a great way to spend the day. It would have been nice to have a little more time at the church in Torcello and enjoy lunch in Burano.
The guide, Donatta, and captain were terrific! The captain agreed to deliver us to the Biennale after the tour and our guide escorted us. We highly recommend this tour for those who wish to explore three of the islands. Enjoy!

We had planned to go on this trip with my wife who is very week due to health issues, and finally she could not join. The company has confused the time, and instead of arriving at 14:00 as ordered, came at 10:00 and pushed us a bit to find a solution. Understandably, my octagenarian mother and myself were a little disappointed from the start. The guide showed up at the hotel the second time on time for 14:00, and we just had to wait a little for the water taxi. We warned the guide that we were not great walkers, and we were keen on coming back earlier to see how my wife was doing. This first boat from Castello to Murano was excellent, a true registered water taxi, and took us to Murano glass factory without any issues. We toured the factory, and returned to the pier to find a very different, quite inferior, old, crammed cabin and very noisy motor boat waiting. We went on it to Torcello and around, and then disembarked at Burano. The guide walked with us to the main street, where we sat down at a cafe, I bought a bottle of decent prosecco, and we all had a nice chat, watching the tourists pass by, and chatting to the guide. I quite liked the guide as a person, he obviously understood that we were sad about my wife. He was feeding us a lot of tourist stuff, that has little relation to facts, but then again, all of them do, do they not? We then went back to Castello, suffering in the substandard, noisy, old boat, and we learned on appraoching Castello that the canals are closed. This I could not believe, and on further enquiry it transpired that this particular boat could not entered the canals. So, 3 hours after the start cutting the time being our own wish we were dropped at Hotel Gabrieli on Riva degli Schiavoni to walk back 400m to the hotel. This was OK with us, but if my wife were with us, being of a very limited mobility, it would have been a serious problem. I was also saddened by his blatant lying to us several times about the circumstances and the choice of the boat. Hence, not a very good value for us, and we did feel somewhat short of the promised service. For healthy people, sharing the costs, with an honest guide, a decent boat, I admit this tour can be a pleasure. It exposes one some extent of Venice beyond the main islands, allowing to see the difference. Sadly, there is little fascinating to see there beyond factual education, either decaying and abandoned, as Torcello, not anythng extraordinary, as Murano glass factories - much the same of any other glass factory - or converted to a tourist trap, as Burano. Would I do it again? Maybe, but certainly not in this way. I would rely on official water taxis, point to point, or as a deal with the taxi company. Or. being mobile, I would take group public transport for a small fraction of the cost.
